S.E.R.V.E
The S.E.R.V.E. pillar of the Miss Teen Volunteer America Organization represents the heart of the program’s mission. Empowering young women to lead with compassion, purpose, and action. Through Service, Education, Responsibility, Volunteerism, and Empowerment, participants are encouraged to actively give back to their communities while developing leadership skills and a strong sense of civic responsibility. S.E.R.V.E. goes beyond volunteer hours; it fosters meaningful impact by inspiring teens to identify needs, take initiative, and use their voices to create positive change. This pillar shapes confident, service-driven leaders who understand that true influence comes from uplifting others and leading by example.
My 2026 s.e.r.v.e initiative
As Miss Idaho Teen Volunteer, Ava Grace Nichols leads her S.E.R.V.E. initiative, Re-Woven by Grace, a program rooted in compassion, sustainability, and service. Through this initiative, Ava Grace educates her community about textile waste and overconsumption while empowering youth to repurpose gently used fabrics into handmade prayer clothes and comfort items donated to infusion centers, hospitals, and families in need.
Re-Woven by Grace reflects the S.E.R.V.E. pillars through service, education, responsibility, volunteerism, and empowerment — showing that small, intentional acts of kindness can bring comfort, dignity, and hope to others.
